WE BELIEVE THAT DUE TO THE LOGISITICAL, FINANCIAL & MORAL ISSUES AFFECTING THE MAJORITY OF WELSH FANS REGARDING ATTENDING THIS YEARS WORLD CUP, OUR FIRST IN SIX DECADES,
A NATIONAL PLAN OF ACTION SHOULD BE PUT IN PLACE FOR FANZONES.

FREE TO ATTEND.
OPEN & INCLUSIVE.
LARGE CAPACITY.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS.
A NATIONAL CELEBRATION OF OUR IDENTITY, LANGUAGE,
COMMUNITY, UNIQUENESS & OUR TEAM.

NO MORE EXCUSES ABOUT JUBILEES, CONCERTS OR COVID.
THERE IS HUGE DEMAND. HELP MAKE IT HAPPEN.
64 Years.
Giggs, Hughes, Bellamy, Toshack, Rush, Southall, Speedo couldn't get there.
Six decades of near misses and heartbreak.
But not this current squad.
EURO 2016. EURO 2020. 2022 World Cup.
A golden generation ushering a new dawn for the national side.

The sport for the first time ever has been declared the most popular in the country,
gazumping the almighty rugby union, in no small part to the prolonged & enduring success of Bale & Co. Never has there been such appetite & interest in Welsh football. An Independent Football Nation without an Independent Nation, living defiantly through their bilingual and multiracial national side. A club side atmosphere that encourages national self pride. That embraces Welsh culture, language & history, while producing it's own festival of identity through song, stickers, bucket hats, line-up photos, nicknames, away days & flags.

Yma O Hyd. Calon Lân. Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau. Dafydd Iwan. Zombie.
Can't Take My Eyes Off You. Together Stronger. Y Wal Goch. The Red Wall.
Joniesta. Rambo. Spirit of 58. King of Corwen. Welsh Pirlo. Waka Waka. Meep Meep.
Wales. Golf. Madrid.
Let's bring the Nation together, utilize the platform of football's biggest stage
and support the boys.

TOGETHER. STRONGER
LIMITED TICKETS
As reported by FAW CEO Noel Mooney & Welsh media, Wales supporters are expected to only be allocated between 2-3000 tickets PER game in Qatar. Meaning the majority of fans (much less excited general public) are unable to attend games.
LGBTQ+ WORRIES
Another reason a fanzone is so needed, is that due to homosexuality being illegal in Qatar, many LGBTQ+ fans do not feel safe in travelling. Human rights issues are a prevailing discussion too, with FAW staff also feeling the need to boycott the competition. A Fanzone back home would allow ALL to support their country while feeling safe & a part of the Red Wall.
OBSCENE COSTS
As reported by the Wales Fan Embassy & their English media counterparts, the sheer distance & lack of lower price accommodation & travel, means Welsh supporters will be looking at a £5-7000 overhead for attending the group stage. An unfathomable cost for 1 weeks stay.
COST OF LIVING CRISIS
With this year's World Cup taking place in November, it presents a number of financial issues for the vast majority. In the midst of an unprecedented cost of living crisis & rising food/petrol costs, the tournament is sandwiched between another energy bill rise in October and Christmas in December. Meaning already stretched budgets would be decimated if covering the cost of travel/tickets/stay.
